A Trip to Aquaria (part 2)

After walking through the Suria KLCC, at last we were at the Aquaria. I bought the tickets while the others were waiting at the waiting area and watched the video played. We got two Santa Clause snow cap for the boys and two antlers for the girls for free. That makes Hajar and Huda looked like two walking deer in the Aquaria.

Everybody was excited watching the creatures inside. It’s not just fish but also other animals that live in the water and various types of reptiles and amphibians. There were also the animals that can disguise such as spider and frog. Snakes also there…eeee…

We had a lunch outside the Aquaria. Then, we prayed at the prayer room nearby. Still inside the same building. Thurayya was not very comfortable. She started to cry as she was tired and also sleepy. We had to go back early. You know what? We had to go through the same route we came. That was so far away and this time we had to walk fast. We were exhausted, but we had to go on.

At Putra LRT station, we crossed the road to the Masjid Jamek station. After crossing the road, I thought we were at the wrong station. So, I asked them to cross the road again. But at the LRT station, I realized that we were actually at the correct place. Then, we crossed the road again for the third time. What a trip! (Sorry guys, I got confused…hehe…)

We had to wait for the train for quiet sometime. 2 – 3 trains passed by, but not ours. Thurayya cried out loud as she was so sleepy but couldn’t sleep. Finally, the train arrived and we got on to it. On the way, Thurayya slept safe and sound as soon as the train moved. We reached home at 5 in the evening, tired but satisfied. Mission accomplished.

A Trip to Aquaria (part 1)

I’ve planned to bring my daughters, brothers and sisters to Aquaria since two days ago. Finally the time has came. Actually, I wanted to bring them there since the first time I saw an article about the place. It just happened after a few years I guess.

We got ready early and departed at 9.30. Mom went to school, Aman went to work as usual and abah wanted to use the car coz he wanted to go to a funeral. So we only had one car with 10 people to ride in. Me, my husband, Hajar, Huda, Thurayya, Irah, Una, Dayah Fadil and Zaid. Imagine the 10 of us in myVi. It’s just for a few minutes before we arrived at Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station.

I purposely asked them to ride the LRT coz I want them to experience travelling by train. Especially for my daughters. They’ve been asking to ride the train long time ago. It started when they saw the advert about komuter on tv. So, this is the time to let them feel the experience.

As soon as we arrived at the station, I checked the route to KLCC. Then I asked Irah to buy the tickets since I had to hold Thurayya coz she was sleeping. After buying the tickets then I asked the officer at the counter about the interchange station whether to change at the KL Sentral or Masjid Jamek. She said it’s easier to change at Masjid Jamek. Then we decided to take the train to Masjid Jamek.

Once we arrived at Masjid Jamek, we had to take Putra LRT. The station is across the road. Therefore we had to cross the busy road of Jalan TAR into Jalan Masjid India. With three small kids and the other five brothers and sisters behind me we had to walk fast as it happened to drizzle.

At the station we had to go down another stairs with the escalator to the underground. We took the Kelana Jaya line to KLCC. In the train, everybody was like horrified coz it was cold and dark outside plus the train was so fast that we could hear the sound of the rail. Finally we arrived at about 11.30 a.m. What a relief… (not yet actually, coz we had to walk for another several km to arrive at the Aquaria).

Nasi Lemak oh Nasi Lemak

Last Sunday night, mom, abah, Una, Dayah, Fadil and Zaid went to the mosque to attend a Maal Hijrah talk. They went before maghrib. I wanted to go, but Thurayya might get sleepy and I need to cater her. It's a bit difficult to deal with if I went to the mosque.

So, me, my kids, Aman and Irah stayed. Irah was very lazy (hehe.. Irah got the blame) to cook so we just ate what we had for lunch. In fact, only Huda ate the dinner. The others didn't really have the appetite to eat. Actually Aman wanted to go out by the car but he didn't tell abah. We waited and thought they were coming back after Isya', I mean right after they have finished the pray.  However, until 9.30 they still didn't show up. Aman was a bit frustrated, but still got the patience. His friends called a few time asking whether he's coming or not.

Eventually, they came home at 10 something with two boxes of food and drinks containing (you know what?) Some nasi lemak and a few bottles of mineral water. Luckily we haven't eaten yet. So, we opened up the box. Oh my... more than 10 packets of nasi lemak with all sorts of sambal. We got sambal udang, sambal sotong, sambal bawang, sambal bilis, sambal in small plastic and so on...then we also had bihun. We ate nasi lemak for our dinner or supper rather coz it's already 10 o'clock at night.

War of blogs

Don't be intimidated by the topic. Everyone takes turn using the comp. to update the blogs. Haha... I've started a war when my bro and sis seem like racing each other to update and upgrade their blogs. Well, it's more like a competition. A good one though. At least something to do during the holiday. Otherwise, they will just sitting in front of the tv or surfing the internet without doing anything productive. But still, you have to do other stuff. This is the time to help your parents keeping the house, cooking the meals, washing the clothes, cleaning the bathrooms and so on.... Hmm.... quite a lot to do. Anyway it's your duty as a child, to reduce your parents burden. Happy blogging...;)

In The House

I woke up at 4 in the morning since I slept so early the night before. I also haven't perform Isya' pray yet. After praying I couldn't sleep. I did what I had missed to do . What else... folding the clothes. Something that I cannot do if the little ones are awake. Thurayya will unfold them while Hajar and Huda will help folding the clothes with their way... you know. Kids' skills...

After breakfast I continued with the blog. I think almost everyone in the house have seen it. I showed it to mom. She said the colour is soothing the eyes. Hehehh... okay sisters. Don't be jealous. I just did what I feel like doing it.

The whole day I was just stayed at home, edited the blog, continued reading the novel (which has taken a few days), looked after my little kids, cooked the meals with my sis help but barely eat the food because of my ulser. It is so painful... may Allah lessen the pain and forgive me for all the wrongdoings I have done especially with my mouth.

Sleepy

Sooo sleepy... couldn't stand anymore. Last night, I slept all around the house (what?) weird haa... After praying maghrib together with mom and my sisters, (abah went to fetch Aman and he drove his car... hmmm) I lied down on the praying mat. I couldn't get up.

Then Hajar wanted to recite Al-Quran. So, I got up and sat. After a while I continued to sleep, still at the same location. Thurayya cried. I got up again and sat on the sofa. I hold her for a while and continued to sleep.

Isya' came and I couldn't even pray together with the others. Too sleepy that I barely open my eyes. Later, Hajar asked to sleep in the room with her. I went to the room and slept on the bed.

Suddenly, Thurayya came and let me out of the room. I put her in the craddle and continued to sleep on the mattress on the floor. Luckily she didn't ask for milk, otherwise I might end up sleep on the floor in the kitchen.

Syabas -> PPDHL -> Tesco

After two hours sleeping, I got up at 6.30 in the morning. Still sleepy, but I have to pray. Then I have to get ready to go to Kajang. Mom wanted to go to PPD and nobody else was available to drive her there. I planned to bring my daughters along but abah insisted to left them at home. He convinced that my sisters can take care of them. I hope so, let see how they handle Thurayya once she cries.

Mom went to school for a while to settle a few things. Then, we forgot to inform Aman that we want to use the car. 8.00 o'clock, he was off to work with the car... oh no, we had no transport. Luckily abah got the idea to ask Aman comes home and send him back to Raudhah on the way to Kajang. As Aman arrived, we were still not ready... heheh. Finally abah sent Aman.

We went to Kajang around 11.45. It was so late, the office might close during the lunch hour. So we headed to Syabas first to settle the account of the old quarters. We  reached there about half an hour later. There were'nt many customers but we had to fill up two forms in order to terminate the account. Then, mom had to pay the balance of the bill. We settle everything at about 1.00 o'clock. Since it was nearly Zohor, we went to the mosque.

About 2.00 we went to PPD. I thought the office was just about to open. Apparently many parents were already there. I waited for more than an hour and at the same time hungry. We haven't had our lunch yet. Doesn't matter, Tesco is just across the road. Around quarter past three we went there to had our lunch+tea and the most important thing is to do some shopping...hihi...

We took "nasi campur" and a mug of hot milo. Well, it's not tea. Then we started to shop. Soo many stuffs until the car boot was full. Oo..is it? Hihi... just exaggerate. We went home around 5.00. On the way back we had to fetch Irah from her hostel. Yesterday was the last day for her SPM. Well, best of luck to her. We got home at 5.30 and everybody was fine especially Thurayya. Sitting on my sister's lap after crying for quite sometime. I thought so....

Manage To Do It

So excited in making the blog, I ended up stayed awake until 4.30 in the  morning. I've finished designing the blog in one night. What a night!? I should have slept since tomorrow morning I'm gonna have to drive mom to PPD. What a spirit... if there's a will, there's a way. Go, sleep..... bye.

Happy New Year

I guess it's not too late to wish all the Muslims a very happy new year. May Allah strengthen our Iman to face all the coming challenges in the future.

A Beginning

Finally, after seeing my two little sister's blogs, I created my own one. I guess they know more about blogging than me even though I've involved with internet much earlier. Why so late? I think I like the cute background around the writing. I want one too.... so I decided to have one and here it is. A beginning for a big sister to learn something from the little ones. Well, they are not small girls anymore though. They're even bigger than me... hehhhe, in many aspects. But one thing for sure, I'm older... huhu...
